How to choose

Indoor or outdoor?
Outdoor screens are sealed and far brighter, so they cost more. Under a roof and out of direct sun, indoor is enough.

How far away is the viewer?
Up to a few metres: an LCD standee or wall display. Further, or bigger than about 85": an LED wall — and the distance sets its pixel pitch.

Will people touch it?
Directories, catalogues and check-in need touch: a kiosk or touch table. Offers and notices only need to be seen.

Fixed or movable?
A Unity Column or wall display stays put. An A-type or Passage Pro moves between a counter, an event and a shopfront.

Digital signage, explained
What is digital signage?
Any screen that shows messages to people passing by — offers, menus, notices, directions, advertising — changed from software instead of reprinted. Standees, wall displays, kiosks and LED walls are all digital signage.
What is pixel pitch?
The distance between the centres of two neighbouring LEDs, in millimetres. P2.5 means 2.5 mm. A smaller pitch packs more LEDs into the same area, so the picture holds up when people stand closer.
How far away should people stand?
A common rule of thumb: the closest comfortable distance in metres is about the pitch in millimetres, and two to three times that looks best. So a P2.5 wall reads well from about 2.5 m, and looks best from 5 – 8 m.
How is the price decided?
By size, resolution or pixel pitch, indoor or outdoor build, touch or non-touch, the stand or frame, branding and quantity. Send the space, the size you have in mind and the city — we reply with a quote for that exact build rather than a catalogue guess.
